Specifications of the RS 232 Interface

Speed 9600 Baud
Data format 1 start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity
Handshake none
Sub-D 9 Pin 2 = Rx
Pin 3 = Tx
Pin 5 = GND
The data exchange between the MIX 10 NG2 and the superior control is done via two-byte commands which are integrated in a data packet
with subsequent check sum.
The structure of the commands is as follows:

Designation Description
Data Link Escape Control character, which indicates that a defined number of following

Start of Text Designates the start of the actual message and the end of the "Header"
Device Number States the device ID
Length States the length (byte) of the actual command (Cmd+Data) – normally
0x02 or 0x03
