About the power supply

The appliance is operated with electrical current.
Thus there is always risk of electrical shock.
You must therefore observe the following:
Steam must not be directed towards equip-
ment containing electrical components, such
as the interior of ovens. Keep the jet of steam
away from sockets and the power cord of the
appliance. Sockets and power cords must not
come into contact with any sources of heat or
damp. Otherwise there is a danger of the power
cord getting damaged which could lead to an
electric shock.
Never immerse the appliance in water or
other liquids.
Only fill up the water tank after completing
cleaning and when the plug is unplugged.
Always fill the water tank carefully using a mea-
suring jug. Keep the other parts of the appliance
dry.
EN
Unplug the appliance after use and before
performing user maintenance.
Never carry the appliance by its power cord.
Always completely uncoil the power cord before
use.
If you want to pull the connection cord out
of the socket, always pull directly on the plug.
Never pull on the connection cord.
Ensure that the connection cord is not bent,
pinched or run over. Keep it away from heat
sources and make sure it does not become a
tripping hazard.
Always check the connection cord for pos-
sible damage before using the appliance. Do not
use a connection cord with a damaged cord or
plug.
If you must use an extension cord, use only
safety-certified, water-protected single extensi-
on cords (no multi-socket distributors) designed
for the power consumption of the appliance.
Before cleaning or performing maintenance
on the appliance, ensure that the appliance is
switched off and that the cord is not connected.
Do not leave the appliance unsupervised
while it is plugged in.

If the appliance is faulty

If the appliance or the connection cord is da-
maged, have it replaced by the manufacturer,
the manufacturer's customer service depart-
ment or a similarly qualified person in order to
prevent hazards.
Do not use the appliance if it has been
dropped, damaged, immersed in water or left
outdoors or if it is leaking.
