NOTE: Before connecting the heater to the mains power supply, make sure the heat control
switch is in the off position. For more energy-efficient use, it is recommended to start with
the high power setting until you reach the desired temperature, then switch to the low power
setting to keep the room warm while using less energy.
STA RT
• Connect the appliance to a 220–240V~, 50–60Hz power outlet.
• Turn the power regulator to turn on the heater and select the desired power: (1250W),
(2000W),
(1250W + Turbo),
• Turn the temperature regulator clockwise until you reach the maximum temperature on the
graduated scale.
• When the desired room temperature is reached, slowly turn the knob counterclockwise un-
til the heater turns off (you will hear a click).
• The heater will now cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
This appliance has a safety device:
1. Resettable thermal link: This will automatically turn off the power to the appliance at a
preset superheat temperature. After cooling down, it will reset and turn on again. If this
happens, investigate what is causing the appliance to overheat.
CAUTION: The appliance generates heat during use. Appropriate precautions must be taken
to avoid the risk of burns, scalds, fires or other harm to persons.
• The appliance requires periodic cleaning to ensure trouble-free operation.
• Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning it.
• Make sure the appliance has cooled completely before cleaning it.
• Use a damp (not wet) cloth to wipe the exterior of the appliance to remove dust and dirt.
• Never use solutions such as benzine, thinners or polishing agents.
• Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust and lint from around the grilles and fins.
• Make sure the appliance is dry before plugging it back into the mains.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance.
