IO-Link functions

Sensors from the BCSR08RRE-PI... series have an IO-Link
communication interface that enables direct access to
sensor values and parameters.
Notes:
– An IO-Link master is required for
communication via the IO-Link interface.
– The description files (IO-Link Device
Description – IODD) required for configuration
as well as further information on IO-Link can
be found at www.balluff.com.
– Without an IO-Link master, IO-Link sensors
operate in SIO mode (Standard-Input-Output)
and behave like sensors with conventional
output. The parameter settings are also
effective in SIO mode.
