The current display pattern results from various status
signals. The signal with the highest priority is displayed.
The signals are listed in descending priority.
Name Signal
Short Circuit Pin 4 / Green, fast flashing.
Failure
Teach Full Green flashes slowly, yellow is off.
Teach Empty Green flashes slowly, yellow is on.
Teach Success Yellow flashes slowly, green is off.
Teach-In Timeout Yellow, flashing fast.
Function Display Green depending on device state, yellow static
and shows switching status.
Ready Green static, yellow depending on switching
status.

– The device status indicator (green LED) lights up continuously
during normal operation
– The switching status indicator (yellow LED) indicates actuation
(object/medium detected)
– Other states are indicated by flashing

Full calibration
Empty calibration
The switching status LED displays three long
flashes upon successful calibration.
If the calibration process is canceled (DI input
active for longer than 12 seconds) or if there is an
error, the switching status LED flashes quickly
several times.
The object was detected. The switch point is
active.
The sensor is ready.
