3.1 General description
The BASIC prebonder sandblaster from Renfert features a specially developed concept for blasting
before bonding� The blasting parameters and the surface pro abrasive have been precisely tailored for
surface conditioning of fixed dental restorations based on scientific studies conducted by Ludwig Maximil-
ian University (LMU) of Munich in Germany� The unit guarantees maximum and reliable adhesive strength
for restoration materials, such as zirconium oxide, metals, hybrid materials (ceramic/resin), and modern
polymers. It is threfore ideal for preparing materials prior to final insertion into the mouth.
The BASIC prebonder is supplied as a 2-Tank version� With additional tanks (see accessories) it can be
upgraded to a 3- or 4-Tank version�
The BASIC prebonder has an automatic quick stop function and is therefore especially suitable for exact
and selective use of the sandblasting material�
