IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance. Do not place material or garments on the
appliance, or obstruct the air circulation around the appliance, for instance by curtains or furniture, as this could
cause overheating and a fire risk.
The appliance carries a "Do Not Cover" warning.
Warning: To reduce the risk of fire, ensure the front of the Optimyst stove is clear from obstruction.
Warning: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be
supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched
on and off by the utility.
The front of the Optimyst stove must maintain 1 meter from any surrounding
furniture, overhanging curtains, or other obstructions.

NOTE: When placing this stove into an existing chimney
breast ensure that the opening has been blocked to avoid any
draft effecting the flame effect or the heater.
Before installation, check that the supply voltage is 230-240 V.

NOTE: The Optimyst stove must be plugged into AC power.
Take the time to thoroughly read all safety warnings and
instructions before installing the device. Carefully remove
all packing items and read the warning labels on the device.
Please keep the packing for future use in case of any
necessary moving of the unit.
Always ensure that the Optimyst stove is sitting on a level surface.
Once installed, never move the Optimyst stove or lay it on its back without
draining the water from the sump and water tank.
The water tank, sump, nozzle, tank lid, and air filters must be cleaned regularly,
particularly in hard water areas where limescale deposits form.
If you intend to not use the Optimyst stove for longer than 1 week, drain the
water from the sump, and water tank. Ensure the sump is dry.

NOTE: It may be possible to hear a noise caused by the operation of the flame effect. That is normal and should
not be a cause for concern. The flame effect can be used with or without heating.
