Remote Control Battery Replacement
To replace the batteries:
1. Remove battery cover of the remote.
2. Correctly install two AA batteries in the battery holder.
3. Secure the battery cover.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of properly. Check with your Local Authority or Retailer for recycling
advice in your area.
Cleaning
WARNING: Disconnect power and allow 10 minutes for the heater to cool before attempting any maintenance
or cleaning to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or damage to persons.
WARNING: The Optimyst stove should not be operated with an accumulation of dust or dirt on or in the unit, as
this can cause a build-up of heat and eventual damage.

NOTE: Avoid spilling any water to prevent water damage to electronics.
1. Empty the water tank and thoroughly clean the
cap and its seals with the supplied brush.
Water Tank
2. Add warm water and washing-up liquid, shake,
and rinse thoroughly.
3. Refill with clean water and tighten the cap.
1. Disconnect the transducer cable and set it aside
2. Use the brush to dislodge any calcium build up.
3. Rinse the transducer with water.
Tranducer
Note: The transducer is a consumable item and may
need to be replaced from time to time depending on
its usage, water quality and maintenance.
1. Remove the nozzle by pushing the tabs at the
front of the module.
Sump
2. Gently lift out the sump, empty it, and clean with
warm soapy water using the supplied brush.
3. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Rinse the filter and dry with a towel.
Air Filter
3. Reinstall with the coarse black side facing
outward.
Use a soft clean duster to clean the surfaces of the
Surface Cleaning
Optimyst stove. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
Use a dry cloth to remove any dust build-up on the
Heater Assembly
front grille at the base of the Optimyst stove.
Servicing
Except for installation and cleaning described in this manual, an authorized service
representative should perform any other servicing.
