Troubleshooting
Problem
The flame effect will
not start.
The flame effect is too
low.
The flame effect has too much
smoke.
The heater will not start.
The product will not start
Cause
Low water level.
CD01/CD51 is displayed.
The Transducer Unit is not sitting
correctly in the sump.
Flame effect is set too low.
The transducer has reached the end
of its lifespan.
Flame effect setting is too high.
The temperature set point is too low.
The heat function has been disabled.
CD02/CD52 is displayed.
The on board thermostat has
exceeded the allowable temperatue
CD03/CD33 is displayed.
The thermostat has been damaged
Err/CD20 is displayed.
The thermal safety cut-out has
activated.
Power cord is not plugged in.
The connection between the PCB
and the display board has failed.
CD04/CD40 is displayed
There is an error on the PCB
CD5/CD23 is displayed
Solution
Check that the water tank is full and
there is water in the sump.
Ensure the Transducer in sitting
down into the moulded recess in the
sump.
Ensure the transducer cable is not
obstructed, and that it is connected
by pressing it firming into the socket
Increase level of flame. See
'Operation'
Replace the transducer.
Decrease level of flame. See
'Operation'
Give the transducer some time to
adjust to the new setting.
Increase temperature set point. See
'Operation'.

obstruction to the heater or to the
airflow around the product. Unplug
the product and allow it to cool for
10 minutes.
