PROTECTION PANELS - MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS AND INFORMATION

carefully read the following instructions for use. Keep this document for the entire life of the article. This accessory is a kit of three
panels for protecting the ears, the temporal area of the head and the nape of the neck. When fitted to the QUANTUM Q2 helmet, they make it
fully compliant with the EN 1385:2012 standard, Helmets for canoeing and white water sports (fig. 7). The panels are compatible exclusively with
the QUANTUM Q2 and QUANTUM CABRIO Q2 helmet models. Refer to the helmet information sheet. Do not use for purposes other than those
mentioned above. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for damage caused by improper use.

USE:
it is compulsory to check the panels are in good condition before each use: check that there are no cracks, holes, signs of evident wear, tears,
charring, malfunctioning of the attachment points to the helmet, illegibility of the marking. Do not use and replace immediately if even one of
these conditions is met. Do not remove from the helmet during use: the expected performance is only provided if the panels are kept in position
throughout the activity.
ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY:
-The panel marked with the letter R should be mounted on the right side of the helmet (when helmet is worn), the
panel with the letter L should be mounted on the left: insert the panels on their sides, keeping them in the correct orientation with respect to the
helmet (fig. 1). - Match the three tabs on the panel with the slots on the shell (fig. 2). - Make sure that the snap tab (A) protrudes from the helmet shell
(fig. 3). - The panel with the word 'REAR' should be mounted on the back of the helmet; insert the tab of the 'REAR' panel into the slot inside the
shell until you hear it click (fig. 5). - To remove the 'R' and 'L' panels, press the snap (A) tab and pull vertically out of the housing (fig. 4). - To remove
the 'REAR' panel, pull vertically downwards (fig. 6).
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING:
not use chemical detergents, solvents, petrol or abrasive powders as these may compromise the structural strength of the product.
TRANSPORT:
Avoid contact with sharp objects or objects with edges that may damage the product. It is recommended that the product is
transported in its original packaging.
STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE:
Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry place, away from oils and/or fats. In these conditions, the product remains
suitable for use for a long time, therefore it is not possible to establish an 'expiry date': KASK S.p.A. recommends replacing it no later than five
years after purchase.
DISPOSAL:
If the product has not been contaminated by particular substances or products, it can be disposed of as normal plastic waste in
accordance with current disposal regulations. Otherwise, comply with current legislation for special waste.

THREE YEAR WARRANTY:
KASK S.p.A. guarantees the product for three years from the date of purchase against any defect in materials or
workmanship. The warranty does not cover defects due to normal product wear, modifications, poor maintenance or use other than for which the
device is certified.
