Checking the Free Disk Space
To check the free space available on a disk, please take these steps:
1. Insert your target disk into the tray and then push the tray back to close it.
2. Make sure no memory card is being inserted into any card socket.
3. Press the
key once.
4. Then the free disk space information, e.g., 0654MB Free, will be displayed on the LCM.
Note: If a non-writable disk such as a DVD-ROM is inserted, the message "Stop" will be
displayed on the LCM instead.
MP3 Player
The device can play MP3 file in the card or in the
disc just like a MP3 player. Refer to following
instructions to learn how to use this function.
1. Connect the headphone or speaker to the audio
output of the device.
2. Power on the device.
3. Insert the storage card or the disc contains MP3 files. Using the card and the disc simulta-
neously is not recommended. The MP3 files should be saved in the root directory of the
card or the disc for its auto playing.
4. Press the
key to start playing the MP3 files.
CD Walkman
The device can play audio CD just like a CD Walkman. Refer to following instructions to learn
how to use this function.
1. Connect the headphone or speaker to the audio output of the device.
2. Power on the device.
3. Insert the audio CD you want to play.
4. The device will load and play the audio CD automatically.
USAGE: ON TV /PROJECTOR
Connecting to TV Set or Projector
The device can play movie DVD, movie VCD, audio CD, and JPEG/MPEG1/MPEG2/MP3/
MPEG4 (optional) files in the disc or in the storage card on TV or projector via AV connection.
To connect the device to the TV/projector, please refer to following instructions.
1. Connect the RCA cable from the video and
audio output of the device to the video and
audio input of the TV/projector.
