Mounting the base

1 Standard fixing holes (also be used with an installation box)

Inserting the batteries
Setting up the radio network and mounting the detector
Remove the base by unscrewing it counterclockwise from
the detector head.
Hold the base onto the ceiling to mark the standard
positions (1) for the drill holes. Make sure that the yellow
dot (2) points to the escape route.
Drill two fixing holes, insert the dowels and then use the
screws to mount the base.
If desired, you may wire up to 5 detectors using a two-core
cable. In this case, use the appropriate fixing holes (3) and
the two supplied spacers to create a gap between the
ceiling and the base.
Another option is the mounting with an installation box. In
this case, you may use the standard fixing holes (1).
