4.4. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF ZIP VACUUM BAGS AND LIQUID TRAP

Vacuum sealing:

Make sure the rim of the bag is
clean and dry. Fill the bag with
food and leave enough space
under the valve so you can
vacuum seal the bag. Make
sure the food inside the bag
does not come in contact with
the valve on the inside of the
bag.

Place the pump on the liquid
collection container and push
it down.
Opening the Bag:
Open the bag by pull apart the
sealing bar (zipper). This way
you also release the vacuum.
Maintenance and Reuse
- With careful use, the bags
may be reused
times.
- Hand wash with mild soap
and warm water. Do not use
abrasive tools.
- Air-dry completely before re-
use.
- Inspect the valve and seams
for damage before each use.
NOTES:
- Vacuum pack only food at
room temperature or cold.
- Do Not use with sharp ob-
jects, hot oils, or acidic liquids
(e.g., vinegar) to avoid materi-
al degradation.

Close the entire zipper on the
bag and make sure that the
zipper is fully closed.

Activate the pump to remove
air from the bag. When the air
has been sufficiently removed
from the bag, the pump will
stop automatically. When vac-
uuming, make sure that the
valve on the inside of the bag
does not come into contact
with its contents. The pump
must not suck in liquids (e.g.
water, oil, meat juices). If you
notice that the pump is suck-
ing liquid into liquid trap, stop
the vacuuming process im-
mediately by pressing the on/
off button. We recommend
freezing liquid or soft foods
before vacuuming.

Place the liquid trap on the
bag valve

If the pump has sucked liquid
into the liquid trap, the inside
of the liquid trap container
must be cleaned before fur-
ther use. Open the liquid trap
lid, pour out all the sucked-up
liquid, clean the inside of the
container and place the lid
back on the liquid trap con-
tainer.
