Warning! Compressed air can be dangerous.
Make sure that you know all precautions for the use of
compressors and compressed air supply.
3.1
How to connect the product to
an air compressor
Warning! Do not use an air tank after its expiration
date. A tank rupture or explosion can cause injury or
death.
Caution! The product must be lubricated before
each use also if it is connected to an air compressor with
in-line lubricator.
● Do not drill, weld, patch or change the air tank.
● Immediately replace the tank or compressor if an air
leak develops. The leak can lead to a rupture.
● Do not adjust or change the components that control
the tank pressure.
● Regularly examine the operation of the pressure relief
valve. Do not use a compressor without a factory
approved pressure relief valve.
● Air compressors used with the tool must comply with
the appropriate European Community Safety
Directives.
● Make sure that the air compressor has the correct
output (CFM).
● For the best performance of the product, it is
recommended to use an air hose with an inner
diameter of 3/8".
● If a long (more than 8 meters) air hose is used, set the
output pressure of the air compressor higher to keep
the required working pressure. Long air hoses can
cause a pressure drop of up to 1 bar.
● Make sure to use the correct hoses and fittings.
● Install a lead hose and a coupling between the air
supply of the product and the whip hose. The vibration
from the product at operation can cause failure to
quick couplings installed directly to the product.
● If an automatic in line filter or regulator is used make
sure to do a check and fill up the oil regularly. Adjust
the lubricator to 2 drops per minute.
3.1.1 Pneumatic connection diagram with an
in-line lubricator
● An in-line oiler installed on the air supply line will keep
the product in good working condition and increase
the product life.
● The in-line oiler must be examined and filled with
air-tool oil regularly.
