Never immerse the device, the charging station and the mains

adapter in water or other liquids and ensure that they cannot fall
into water or become wet.
If the device, the charging station and the mains adapter of the
■
device is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer
or customer service department or a similarly qualifi ed person
(e.g. specialist workshop) in order to avoid any hazards.

Dangers of Injury

■ Danger of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
■ Keep animals, hair, jewellery, wide clothing, fi ngers and all other body parts away
from the nozzles of the device. They could become stuck to the device. Should the
vacuum cleaner become stuck, switch the device off immediately.
■ Please take particular care when cleaning stairs so that you do not stumble and fall.
Danger of Electric Shock and Fire
■ Do not use the device if highly fl ammable gases are present in the air.
■ Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate it outdoors, in rooms
with high humidity or on hot surfaces.
■ Never touch the device, the charging station and the mains adapter with wet or damp
hands.
■ Never pick up liquids with the device. Do not pour liquids into the dust container. Keep
the motor unit away from moisture or wet conditions!
■ Avoid pinching the mains cable in doors or pulling it over sharp edges or corners.
Keep the cable away from hot surfaces.
■ Connect the mains adapter only to a plug socket whose mains voltage corresponds
to the data on the rating plate of the device. The plug socket must still be accessible
after the connection has been made. Only use suitable extension cables whose tech-
nical data is the same as that of the device.
■ In the interest of your own safety, you should check the device for damage each time
before you use it. Only use it if it is not damaged in any way!
■ In the event of damage/faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development),
switch the device off. Have it checked by an expert before you use it again.
Damage to Materials, Property and the Device
■ Do not allow the dust container to get too full. Empty it after each use if possible. The
fi lter must also be regularly cleaned in order to prevent overloading of the motor.
■ The device should only be used when it is fully and correctly assembled! The dust
container and fi lter must be inserted and must not be damaged! If the dirt were to get
inside the device, this could damage the motor. Do not insert anything into the open-
ings / nozzle of the device and make sure that they do not become clogged. Never
cover the ventilation openings.
■ Use only original manufacturer's accessories.
