10.Secure the rear mounting supports with two socket head bolts and two flat
washers. Torque the socket head bolts to 8 lb ·ft.
11.Torque the shoulder bolts underneath the mounting supports to 6 lb ·ft.
12.After installing each roof rack, check that the gasket on the mounting support is
not protruding. If it is, push the gasket into position using a trim tool.
13.Carefully align the ball and socket joint, making sure they are centered, and
apply slight downward force to engage the ball and socket until the cover snaps
into place.
14.Apply slight force to the top of the cover to engage retention features to the roof
rack.
15.Use the cap lock key, and rotate the lock 90°to the locked position.
16. Note：①Install firstly the plastic housing of the adaptor out cover, ②and then
install the lock cylinder. After installing the roof rack, rock each rack to make sure it
is secure.
