Home Energy Management System (ModBus server) settings
The charger can be connected to an Energy Management System (EMS) or another
Modbus device via Modbus RTU over RS485 or Modbus TCP/IP over Ethernet.
This function is enabled by default in the app menu.
➔ The HEMS functions are based on Modbus as described in the Modbus Maps
documentation. See 1.4.
Configuration procedure
1) In the Power Management page, select Home Energy Management System.
2) In Modbus protocol, select RTU or TCP/IP.

Modbus RTU
Configuration procedure
The RS485 cabling must be carried out as described in the section 4.9.

1)
Enter the Modbus RS485 RTU parameters:
Modbus RTU address: 1 by default (from 1 to 32)

Baud rate: 115200 by default.

2)
Select SEND and restart the charger from the homepage for the changes to take
effect. To save time, you can restart later after making all necessary changes.

Modbus TCP/IP
Configuration procedure
The Ethernet connection must be established as described in 4.10.

Enter the Modbus TCP/IP parameters:
Port, by default 502. You can change it in case of conflict with other

applications.
Timeout: by default, 1000 msec. You can change it in case of conflict with
•
other applications.
The IP (mandatory), Gateway and DNS addresses can be configured.

Select SEND and restart the charger from the homepage for the changes to take
effect. To save time, you can restart later after making all necessary changes.
