Main/Satellite

The Main/Satellite page allows you to configure a network of chargers, where a Main
charger can coordinate via RS485 up to five Satellite chargers for balanced operation
according to the maximum power available at the common connection point.
To set up the Main/Satellite, on the installer App, you must configure the Main charger
and the Satellite chargers as described below.
Main charger configuration procedure
The Modbus RS485 connection must be in place as described in 4.9.4.
•
1) In the Power Management page, select Main/Satellite.
2) Enable the feature.
3) In M/S role select Main for the Main charger.
4) In Group power limit, move the slider to set the maximum power for the set of
networked chargers.
5) Select SEND and restart the charger from the homepage for the changes to take
effect. To save time, you can restart later after making all necessary changes.
Satellite charger configuration procedure
The Modbus RS485 connection must be in place as described in 4.9.4.
•
1) In the Power Management page, select Main/Satellite.
2) Enable the feature.
3) In M/S role select Satellite and unique number from 1 to 5.
4) Select SEND and restart the charger from the homepage for the changes to take
effect. To save time, you can restart later after making all necessary changes.
