Operation of Snow Plow Lights Using The
Energy Smart System with ProControl 2
Plus™ (For Vehicles that use a Snow Plow
Interface Module Kit)
Use the manual supplied with your vehicle's specific Snow
Plow Interface Module (SPIM) Kit.
Start/Stop Procedure for ProControl 2
Plus™ Transmitters
To prevent the ProControl 2 Plus™ transmitter from
inadvertently and accidentally being switched off the
power button is to be held approximately 2 seconds to be
turned off.
Power Saving Mode
The ProControl 2 Plus™ transmitter uses a very small
amount of electrical current anytime it is' On'. To minimize
current use when the ProControl 2 Plus™ transmitter is
inactive, the system has a 'Sleep' mode to shut itself
down. If no control function is pressed for a time period of
approximately 20 minutes, the ProControl 2 Plus™
transmitter will shut down by itself. When this happens,
the power button must be pressed and held to switch the
transmitter back "ON."
