Basic operation
Unit and TFT ONIOFF
Press the Q)button to turn the unit ON. When the unit is ON, press the d) button once to turn the TFT
OFF. Press this button again to turn the TFT back ON. Press and hold the
OFF.
Mode
Selection
Press the [MODE] button to cycle the play mode between radio/USB/SD/disc/AUX/B/uet00th/AV/
A2DP (Bluetooth audio).
Sound
Control
• Volume control: use the rotary button on the unit or the [VOL] buttons on the remote.
• Audio settings:
Press the volume button to enter the menu and press continuously to scroll
through the options (Bass/Treble/Balance/Fader/Loud)
Note:
When EQ is ON, treble control
is not available.
Setup menu
Push the [MENU] button en choose (rotate and push the VOL button) SETUP.
• General: choose if you like the button beep to be ON or OFF.
• Clock: choose 24h or 12h (AMIPM) notification and set the time.
• Audio: to set MBP (left/right) / Loud (ON/OFF) / EQ (rock/pop/classic/OFF)
• Video: to set display Brightness / Contrast / Saturation / Hue.
• Function: to set Radio region (Europe/America/Japan/Russia)
Radio operation
GO to the radio mode using the [MOD] button.
Choose
radio
band
Use the [BAND] button to choose between FMI / FM2/ FM3 / AMI or AM2.
store up to six preset stations, for a total of 30 preset memory stations.
Set frequency
Push the
buttons to go to the desired frequency step-by-step.
Push and hold the [»1/144] buttons to start a search to the next station.
Save frequency
as preset
Search for the desired frequency/station,
choose a preset number (1—6) push and hold that number
till the display shows PI—P6 under the frequency. To recall, push the desired preset number.
Automatic
scan
and
store
If you are On one of the FM bands, push and hold the [APS] button. The unit will automatically scan
and
save
stations
for all the
3 FM
bands.
If you are on one of the AM bands, push and hold the [APS] button. The unit will automatically scan
and
save
stations
for
both
AM
bands.
List
Push the [LIST] button and use the [VOLI buttons to rotate through the presets and push to select.
Push and hold the [LIST] button to turn ON several radio RDS functions:
• PTY: program genre (several choices)
• AF: Automatic frequency (ONIOFF)
• TA: Traffic announcements
(ON/OFF)
• ST: Stereo (ON/OFF)
• LOC: Local (Local/DX)
• LOUD: Loudness (ON/OFF)
DVD/VCD/CD/USB/SD
operation
The unit has an USB port on the front panel, a disc slot behind the front panel (push [OPEN] to flip
the panel) and a SD card reader behind the front panel (push [OPEN] and remove the panel).
After inserting a disc/USB/SD with supported files (see specifications) the unit automatically will
change to the right mode, if not use the [MOD] button to choose the right mode.

Bluetooth
operation
Pairing
To connect your Bluetooth device to the unit, you need to pair the device to the unit.
Pairing needs only to be done once. You can pair up to five devices.
1 . Turn
on the Bluetooth
2. Search
for Bluetooth
3. Select the Bluetooth device ID called 'RDD773BT
4. If requested enter default password "0000"
If pairing is successful "connected" will be shown on the display in Bluetooth mode.
Auto-Reconnection
Once a device is paired it will be automatically re-connected the next time.
Note that only one device can be connected to the unit at the same time.
Incoming
Calls
• Answering an incoming call: press the GREEN button at an incoming call.
• Rejecting an incoming call: press the RED button at an incoming call.
• End a call: Press the RED button during a call.
A2DP (Bluetooth
audio streaming)
If you connected a device with stored music and which supports the A2DP profile you
can play this music over you car speaker system.
1. Make sure your device is connected to the unit.
2. GO to the BT-music mode on the unit using the [MOD] button.
3. Start playing music on your device.
4. You can control the playback using the buttons [N/I«]
Input & Output
Front and Rear Pre-amp Output
The RCA outputs can found on the back of the unit (see connection diagram).
This output is for connecting an amplifier, equalizer, or other audio component that
requires a pre-amp out connection (Red=Right, White=Left). Follow the manufactures
instructions for the audio component that you are connecting.
Video Output
The RCA output can found on the back of the unit (see connection diagram).
This output (in yellow) is for connecting monitor(s). You must connect a monitor for car
in order to play this unit in another monitor. Consult your dealer for any kinds Of monitors
that
are
suitable
to use
in car.
Backup Camera Input
The RCA input can found on the back of the unit (see connection diagram).
This input (in yellow) is for connecting backup camera for parking. You must connect the
reverse wire (pink) to the reverse gear switch in order to activate this video input mode
when you switch the reverse gear of your car.
SUB output
The RCA output can found on the back of the unit (see connection diagram).
Follow the amplifier's installation instructions.
AUX input
The Aux input 3.5mm Jack connection is located on the front panel of the unit. Use the
[MOD] button to go to the AUX mode. Connect any portable audio device such as a
portable MP3 player to the unit. Use the controls on the device to control the playback.
AV input
The AV input is a set Of input on the rear Of the unit (video IN + AUX IN RCA's - see
connection diagram). Use the [MOD] button to go to the AV mode. Connect any portable
AV device such as a DVD player to unit. Use the controls on the device to control the
playback.
