ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT
®
INSTRUCTION SHEET
To mount the new actuator, follow steps 1-5 in
reverse order .
6. Insert the actuator as shown and the
wire should be on the side as shown. (Fig.
6). Insert the spacer (J) back under the
actuator before inserting bolt (I). Using
a 3mm Allen wrench, fasten the M4 bolt
(I) and torque it to 2.2 Nm.
the cover (H) back into the rail over the
actuator, and ensure the ferrite is under
the cover toward the back of the actua-
tor and torque M3 bolt (G) to 1.0 Nm using
a 2.5mm Allen wrench.
(M) is not pinched (Fig. 6)
7. Ensure the connector is inline with the roll
pin (N) (Fig. 7)
8. Thread the actuator bolt (K) into the ac-
tuator through the insert (O) and torque
to 2.8 Nm.
To help ease the assembly
of the latch block, activate the actuator
to push out the insert to around 5mm by
pressing the up and down button and
immediately pulling the battery out to stop
the actuator. (Fig. 8)
9. Ensure the spring (P) is still positioned in the
pocket in the latch block (Q). (Fig. 9)
10. Reinstall the battery and lay the device
down horizontal to reassemble the latch
block. Align the slider blocks (R) with latch
block (F). (Fig. 10) Tug the connector inside
the latch block cutout at the same time.
To ease the installation of the slider blocks,
use the 2.5mm Allen tool to align them
using the second holes.
11. Fasten the M4 hardware (E) using a 3mm
Allen wrench and torque to .7 Nm.
11)
Note: Refer to notes from step 2 for cor-
rect mounting position.
12. Insert the battery all the way back, and
push the up and down button two times
and the actuator will extend and retract
all the way home. Place the spring (D) into
the actuator bolt. Then, hold the latch wire
holder (B) on the handle (C) and insert the
handle into the latch block. Please note
that it requires signiÞ cant strength because
of the spring; as an alternative option
use a zip tie to hold the handle in place.
Torque the screws (A) to 2.8 Nm.
