R90 ACTUATOR REPLACEMENT

INSTRUCTION SHEET
1. To remove handle: (Fig. 1)
a. Hold the handle in place so
the spring does not pop up
once the screws are re-
moved.
b. Using a 3mm Allen wrench,
remove the four screws (A)
that hold the handle (C) and
the latch wire holder (B).
c. Remove handle (C) and
spring (D).
To complete steps 2-5, set the de-
vice in a horizontal position (leave
battery in, battery not shown).
2. Using a 3mm Allen wrench,
remove the front bolts (E) that
mount the latch block (F). Note
the position of the bolts for reas-
sembly (Fig. 2)
3. Remove the latch block (F). (Fig.
3)
Note: There is a spring in the
latch block. It must be positioned
correctly for reassembly.
4. Next, remove the actuator.
a. Back off the actuator bolt (K)
by hand or with a plier. (Fig.
4)
b. Disconnect the connector
(L) of the actuator harness.
Then, remove the actuator.
(Fig. 4)
5. Next, remove the cover and
actuator hardware.
a. Remove the cover bolt (G)
and cover (H) by sliding
toward the wheel using a
2.5mm Allen wrench. (Fig. 5)
b. Remove the bottom actua-
tor bolt (I) using a 3mm Allen
wrench. Next, remove the
spacer (J) underneath the

actuator . (Fig. 5)
