2.1 Intended use
Any other usage, change, and modifications are strictly prohibited. Us-
age other than the intended use leads to dangers for which the manu-
facturer is not liable, and to an exclusion of warranty and liability.
The device is part of the Alpha Smart system and is used for the follow-
ing purposes:
– for installation in environments of residential use
– Registration of the actual temperature (room temperature) and the
humidity
– Setting of the target temperature (comfort temperature)
– Radio communication in the Alpha Smartware network
3 Qualification of the professional staff
Mounting and commissioning of the device require basic mechanical
and electrical knowledge as well as knowledge of the associated techni-
cal terms. In order to ensure operational safety, these activities may only
be carried out by a trained, instructed (also with respect to safety), and
authorized specialist or by an instructed person under the direction of a
specialist.
