MY ACE KETOSCAN LITE SHOWS VERY HIGH VALUES.
WHAT CAN BE THE REASON FOR THIS?
There are several possibilities and situations where high
concentration results are obtained even though the ACE
KETOSCAN Lite is working correctly.
1. precautions before use are not followed (e.g. test af-
ter drinking coffee, eating or smoking etc.).
» Solution: Use the ACE KETOSCAN Lite according
to the precautions.
2. test is performed immediately after using hand sanitizer.
» Solution: Alcohol hand sanitizer may affect the
results of the ACE KETOSCAN Lite if a person tests
immediately after using the sanitizer. Please stay
away from the device for half an hour after using
the disinfectant and test later
3. If you blow strongly into the mouthpiece, this may
cause moisture such as saliva or other substances
to enter the sensor of the device. In this case, the
results will be temporarily high.
» Solution: Please clean the inner part of the mouth-
piece with a dry cloth or cotton swab and use
the device again after a few minutes, then the
result should be normal. We recommend always
using a new disposable mouthpiece to avoid high
values.
4. if the measurement results are continuously high
even though all the above measures have been avoi-
ded, but the results are low when tested by others.
» Recommended: Since it is unlikely that the
problem is due to malfunction of the product, we
strongly recommend consulting a physician as
soon as possible.
