INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE, STORAGE AND CLEANING
A) Results may be affected if you drink beverages such
as coffee, juice, etc. without water within 30 minu-
tes before the measurement and if you eat or smo-
ke food or brush your teeth (including mouthwash)
within 30 minutes before the measurement. Alcohol
content may affect the results if drinking within 24
hours or a hangover persists.
B) The accuracy of the sensor may be affected if the
device is not used for more than 6 months. Please
contact a service centre near your location (you can
find it in the „Service centre" menu in the KETOSCAN
application) or the dealer where you bought the de-
vice.
C) Do not open the casing
D) Refrain from washing the unit or treating it with clea-
ning agents, especially cleaning with alcohol can be
the cause of unit faults. Wipe the unit carefully with a
dry towel and a cotton swab.
E) Do not store the unit in a cold or hot or damp or
poorly ventilated place.
F) Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
G) Do not drop the unit.
H) Do not perform a test in noisy (sound waves disturb
the sensor), draughty or poorly ventilated places.
I) Do not test in very cold, very hot or unventilated,
smoky environments.
J) Store the unit in a way that prevents dust and liquids
from entering.
K) Do not blow too hard into the device, this will dama-
ge the sensor (especially if a lot of saliva gets into
the device through blowing).
L) Measurement results may be affected if you drink
a beverage such as coffee, juice, etc. within 30 mi-
nutes before the measurement (except water) and
also if you eat, smoke or brush your teeth (including
mouthwash) just before a test.
