CONDUCTING THE MEASUREMENT
It is important to breathe into the device correctly. We
recommend that you do not take a deep breath before
blowing. Instead, inhale briefly before blowing, hold your
breath for two seconds and only then start blowing. Try
to blow in the same way each time you perform a test.
1. Insert a mouthpiece (or straw) into a sampling port.
2. Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to
switch on the device. The number of tests remaining
and the previous test results are displayed on the
screen.
3. Wait until bLo is displayed on the screen and then
blow continuously (without pause) until the unit vi-
brates.
4. SdC is displayed once the Sensor Conditioning Test
is completed. The counter will count down again,
then the unit will prompt you to blow one more time
for the main test.
5. Blow until the unit vibrates.
6. The test result will be displayed and will automatical-
ly vanish after 15 seconds.
7. To force the unit off, press and hold the power button
for 2 seconds.
Note: The unit switches off automatically after about 15
seconds. You can also switch off the device manually
by pressing the on/off button for 2 seconds. For another
test, simply press the on/off button once briefly.
