WARNING
-Risk of Fire
To reduce the risk of fire, the installation must be carried out by a qualified installer.
When installing this clothes dryer, follow both the manufacturer's instructions and local
codes.
Avoid using flexible plastic venting materials for the clothes dryer. Instead, use a specific
type of venting material, which is approved by the manufacturer for use with clothes
dryers.
Flexible materials can collapse, get easily crushed and trap lint, which obstructs the
airflow and increases the fire risk.
To reduce the risk of severe injury or death, follow all instructions in this manual.
To ensure your safety, properly ground this appliance. In case of any malfunction or
breakdown, grounding reduces the risk of electric shock - it provides a path of least
resistance for the electric current. This appliance comes with a cord that has an
equipment-grounding conductor, which has been grounded according to all local codes
and ordinances.
Always prioritise proper grounding for electrical appliances.
WARNING
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a serious risk of
electric shock. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician or a representative from the
manufacturer. Do not attempt to modify the appliance plug. If the plug does not fit the
outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.
Ensure the dryer is placed on firm and level ground. Avoid placing the dryer on carpet, as
this can block the intake and affect its performance. There should be at least 10cm of
space between the dryer and the surrounding walls, so air can circulate properly.
