• Do not expose this appliance to any weather.
• Do not tamper with controls.
• Do not attempt to replace or repair any part of this appliance, unless it is specifically
recommended in this instruction manual, you understand the instructions and have
the skills to do so.
• Do not use fabric softeners or products to remove static unless it is recommended
by the manufacturer of the fabric softener or product.
• Do not use heat to dry items containing foam, rubber or rubber-like materials.
• For areas surrounding the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas, keep
them free from lint, dust and dirt.
• Only qualified personnel can clean the interior of the appliance and exhaust duct.
• If items have been exposed to cooking oil, do not place them in the dryer. The oil
may contribute to a chemical reaction, which is a fire risk.
• Keep foreign objects out of this dryer.
• Before and after each load, clean the lint screen.
Oil-affected items can ignite spontaneously, especially when
exposed to heat sources such as a tumble dryer. The items become
warm, causing an oxidant ion reaction in the oil. Oxidation creates
heat. If the heat cannot escape, the items can become hot enough to
catch fire. Piling, stacking or storing oil-affected items can prevent
heat from escaping, creating a fire risk.
To ensure safety while using the tumble dryer, follow these
guidelines:
If fabrics contain vegetable or cooking oil or have been contaminated by hair
products, you must wash them in hot water with extra detergent before placing them
in the dryer. This reduces the risk of hazards associated with such oils and fabrics.
Never place unwashed items directly into the tumble dryer. Always ensure items are
clean and free from substances, which may pose a risk during drying.
If items have been soiled with substances like cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol,
kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers, wash them in hot
water with extra detergent before placing them in the dryer.
The final part of the tumble dryer cycle occurs without heat (cool down cycle),
ensuring that items are left at a temperature that avoids damage.
WARNING: Never stop a tumble dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all
items are quickly removed and spread out so that the heat is dissipated. Never stop
a tumble dryer before the end of its drying cycle, unless all items are quickly
removed and spread out, so the heat can disperse.
Never place this appliance upside down
