Map Utility

Overview of Map Utility
This software can use the location information recorded with the
receiver to show shooting locations, shooting directions, and routes
traveled with the receiver on a virtual map. Also, you can append the
location information to the images with no GPS information.
Additionally, by connecting with the receiver, you can save the log
information on the computer, change the positioning interval, or delete
the log information.
Downloading and Installing
Follow these steps even if a previous version of Map Utility is already
installed. (The previous version will be overwritten.)

Download Map Utility.
Connect to the Internet from a computer and access the following
Canon Web site.
Download Map Utility.
Decompress it on the computer.
For Windows:
For Macintosh: A dmg file will be created and displayed. Follow
(1) Double-click the dmg file.
A drive icon and installer file will appear on the desktop.
If the installer file does not appear, double-click the drive
icon to display it.

Click the displayed installer file to start the
installer.
