Cross-cutting Fig. „T"
Making short workpieces on the parallel stop
• Retract the parallel or auxiliary stop far enough so that
the rear end is in front of the sprocket of the circular
saw blade. This prevents the workpiece from jamming.
• Remove workpieces from the danger zone with a push
stick (not with your hands).
• Attach the deflector strip if the workpieces can be
caught by the rising sprocket of the circular saw blade
and thrown back (make deflector strip yourself)
Cross-cutting Fig. „U"
Cutting narrow workpieces to length at the cross
stop
• Move parallel stop away from the circular saw blade.
• Attach the deflector strip so that if workpieces could be
caught by the rising sprocket of the circular saw blade
and thrown back (make deflector strip yourself).
• After the cut, release the gauge stop from the cross
stop and pull the workpiece away from the circular saw
blade or push the workpiece through up to behind the
riving knife.
Pushstick Item no. 5320 6208 Fig."W"
For cutting narrow workpieces and when swivelling
the sawblade, with the distance between stop rail
and sawblade less than 120 mm, turn the stop rail to
the lower guide side.
Always use the push stick to guide the workpiece.
Pushing handle Special accessory Item no. 7963
1000 Fig."X"
Safe and convenient for working with small and specially
shaped workpieces. This required push stick is easily
made and secured to the pushing handle.
