Noise parameters
Measurement conditions per DIN ISO 7960.
The stipulated values are emission values and so do
not necessarily represent safe working values. Although
there is a correlation between emission levels and expo-
sure levels, it is not possible to reliably determine whether
additional precautionary measures will be required or not
based on this. Factors that could influence the exposure
level present at any given time in the work area include
the duration of exposure, the nature of the working area,
other noise sources etc. e.g. the number of machines and
neighbouring processes.
The permissible workstation values can also vary from
country to country. However, this information should ena-
ble the operator to better evaluate the hazards and risks.
Sound level power in dB(A) per ISO 3746
Idling L = 91,2 dB(A)
Operating L = 97,7 dB(A)
Sound pressure level at workstation in dB(A) per DIN
ISO 11202.
Idling L = 80,6 dB(A)
Operating L = 87,6 dB(A)
A measuring uncertainty coefficient (K=4 dB) applies to
the emission values liste above

For packaging reasons your scheppach ts Precisa
4.0 bench circular saw is delivered in semi-assem-
bled state.
Assembling the frame Fig."A"
Place the scheppach Precisa 4.0 bench circular saw
with the bench top on a flat, clean surface.
Place a sheet or similar on the surface to protect the
bench top.
Assemble as folIows:
Switch/plug combination, switch console, feet, trimming
panels
Fig."A1"
Flat round screws
for securing the switch are in aseparate plastic pack.
First screw the switch to the switch plate with
4 flat round screws
Fit discharge/extraction port (2) fig. „A2", extraction
port fig. „N2" and Ø100 extraction hose. Fig. „N1"4

Fasten M8x80 Allen screw with M8 nut on the right frame
foot for hanging the tool. Fig. „Z"
Trimming panel Fig."A3"
Fit the trimming panels and screw them to the frame feet
with
4 flat round self-tapping screws
for each panel.
Fit the plastic foot plates, tapping lightly with the hammer.

• Turnn the motor. right to the top with the handwheel
• Insert the fixing pin (1) through he front panel into the
saw blade shaft, pushing it with an upward slant.
• Countert he saw shaft with the fixing pinto loosen or
tighten the hexagon nut M20 (left-hand thread). Se-
cure the saw blade (2) with the clamping washer (3)
and hexagon nut M 20 (left-hand thread) (4).
• Fit the splitting wedge (5) and tighten with the clamping
plate (6), hexagon nut (7) and washer
Fig. „D1"
m The gap between the saw blade ill and the splitting
wedge must not be more than 8 mm.
Check and read just it if necessary after each saw blade
change. The lip 01 the splitting wedge must never be set
Iower than the fIoot 01 the top saw tooth.
A setting 01 max. 2 mm below the crest of tne top saw
tooth is ideal.
The splitting wedge is an important salety leature. The
work piece is fed through the splitting wedge, which pre-
vents the cut from closing behind the saw blade and also
prevents the workpiece from kicking back.
The splitting wedge must be flush in line with the
saw blade.
Make a fine adjustment if necessary. Fine adjustment is
made using hexagon nuts M 8 -size 13 (2) at the top and
bottom 01 the guide bar (1).
Close the cover of thee protective casing and re-
place the bench insert.
