THE SYSTEM DELAY MENU
When using IGxTR loudspeakers in environments that require several
speaker installations at different distances, it is possible to delay the
signal output from the loudspeakers so that the listener perceives a single
wavefront anywhere in the room. Consider, for example, the coverage of a
particularly large and long indoor room.
To make this type of adjustment, after accessing the SYSTEM DELAY menu:
1. select and confirm the "DELAY" field.
2. 2. select and confirm the desired delay value with range 0-126 ms in
terms of time or 0-43.7 m / 0-143.4 ft in terms of distance.
3. Return to the home screen by selecting the "HOME" symbol.
THE MICROPHONE SETTING MENU
The IGxTR loudspeakers have a microphone input with an XLR connector.
When using this source, it may be useful to apply a filtering to the signal
to eliminate unwanted frequencies (with a high-pass filter with adjustable
cut-off frequency). Or it may be necessary to intervene with a notch filter
(with selectable band centre) to prevent any feedback (or Larsen effect). To
make one or both of these adjustments, after accessing the MICROPHONE
SETTING menu:
1. select and confirm HP filter (high pass filter).
2. select and confirm the cut-off frequency value of the high-pass filter,
with a variable range 50 Hz - 200 Hz and a resolution of 10 Hz (select
the value "None" to deactivate the filter) .
3. select and confirm "Antifeedback" (antifeedback or Larsen effect filter).
4. select and confirm the centre band frequency value of the high-pass
filter, with a variable range 260 Hz - 15000 Hz and a resolution of 10 Hz
(select the value "None" to deactivate the filter) .
5. Return to the home screen by selecting the "HOME" symbol.
