6. Function
The system is put into operation in accordance with the
applicable DALI 2 standard.
– All functions and commands from the DALI standard
IEC 62386 Part 101, Part 103, Part 303 and Part 304
are available.
– All sensor values (motion, light level, temperature and
humidity) can be requested from the DALI-2 Application
Controller.
Automatic or time-based cyclical transmission can also be
selected for motion and light levels. You will find detailed

The presence detector is intended for connection to a
DALI-2 Application Controller (APC).

Bluetooth grouping
The sensors can be operated as individual sensors or as a
group. The group is interconnected via wireless commu-
nication.
Steinel Connect app
To read off the sensor values via smartphone or tablet,
you must download the STEINEL Connect app from your
app store.
You will need a Bluetooth-capable smartphone or tablet.
Functions in relation to the Steinel Connect app:
– Setting the detection zone.
– Display of current sensor values.
– Interconnecting the sensor.
