1. Introduction
PowerFLARM Flex is a mobile device de-
signed for all types of manned aviation. It pro-
vides advanced collision avoidance features
with integrated antennas, a hybrid display,
and multiple power options. This manual out-
lines essential setup and operational steps to
get started quickly. For detailed instructions,
refer to the full manual at www.flarm.com.
2. Installation & Mounting
Mounting Options
PowerFLARM Flex offers AMPS 2-hole mount
(48.41 mm, M4). See Fig. 3 for more details.
Permanent Installation: Use M4 screws to se-
cure the device in place.
Temporary Installation: Use a RAM mount
(e.g. Diamond Ball Base) with a suction cup
for flexible mounting.
Powering the Device
Battery:
▶ Replaceable 18650 Li-Ion battery (not
included). Must fulfill IEC 62133-2:2017
