| DISASSEMBLY.
Cautions on n Disassembly
Follow the palcuientioned notes when diseseombiiiig thie
unit and reassembling: it, to keep. its safety and excellent
performance:
a
1. Be sure to remove the power supply plug from the wall
outlet before starting to disassemble the unit.
2. Take cassette tape out of the cassette holder. .
| 3. 'Fake-off-nylon-bands-or-wire
holders where they need
be removed when disassembling the unit. After servicing
the unit, bé 'sure 'to' rearrange the leads at where they
have been before disassembling.
4. Take sufficient
care on static electricity of integrated
circuits and other circuits ulead servicing.

REMOVAL OF 'CABINET,
1. Remove five screws (). from the cabinet - two at the right,
two at the feft, and one at the rear. Holding the cabinet,
shift it backwards and. 'take it out. (See Elgure: 4-1.)

OF BOTTOM PLATE
1. Turn the unit upside down, and remove six screws
from the bottom
plate. Shift the bottom plate backwards
to take it out. (See Figure 4-2.)

PANEL
1. Remove five screws © - two at the bottom of the unit, one
at the main P.W.B. and two at the side surface of the unit.
(See Figures 4-2'and 4-3.) -
2. Remove six sockets, ® from the n main P.W.B. (See Figure
4-3.)
3. Take the record/playback selector rod &) off the mecha-
nism biock.
4, Remove two screws © from the power switch. (See Figure
4-3.) Thus, the front panel can be detached from the unit.

BLOCK
1. Take the tape counter drive belt G) off the tape counter.
(See Figure 4-3.)
2. Remove two screws (H) from the bottom of the unit. (See
Figure 4-2.)
3. Remove
two screws ® from the mechanism
block. (See
Figure 4-3.) Then the mecaehism block can be separated
from the unit.
AC VOLTAGE SELECTOR ©
Check the setting of the AC voltage. selector located on the
rear panel before plugging the unit into am AC outlet, If neces-
sary, adjust the selector to correspond to the.AC power volt-
age used in your area.

Selector. adjustment:
Turn the selector with a screwdriver until Seay appropriate volt-
age number appears in the window. (110V,, 127V, -220V or
240V).
