Getting Start

Powering On

Charge the D-RTK 3 multifunctional station (hereinafter referred to as
"D-RTK 3") to activate the internal battery before using for the first time.
Make sure to use a PD3.0 USB charger with the voltage from 9 to 15 V, such
as DJI 65W Portable Charger.
1. Connect the charger to the USB-C port on D-RTK 3. When the power
indicator lights up, it means that the battery has been successfully
activated. Make sure to charge until the indicator displays green
before use.
2. Press, and then press and hold the power button to power on/off the
D-RTK 3.
• When using a non-recommended charger, such as a charger with
5V-output, the D-RTK 3 can be charged only after powering off.
Selecting the Operating Modes
Press the D-RTK 3 power button 3 times to switch the operating modes. Make
sure to select the desired operating mode according to the mode indicator.
• Base Station Mode ( displays green): Used to provide accurate data for
centimeter-level positioning to improve operation precision for multiple DJI
aircraft simultaneously.
• Relay Station Mode ( displays blue): After connecting to the specified
compatible DJI aircraft and remote controller, installed at a high place and
used as a communication relay to avoid signal blockage during operation.
• Rover Station Mode ( displays yellow): Used as a hand-held mapping device.
Activation Instructions
The D-RTK 3 needs to be activated before using for the first time. The GNSS
signal indicator blinks red when not activated.
• When used as a base station/relay station, the D-RTK 3 can be activated by
following the prompts in DJI Pilot 2 app when connecting to the aircraft and
the remote controller. Make sure the remote controller is connected to the
internet during activation.
• When used as a rover station or DJI Pilot 2 does not prompt you to activate,
download the latest version of DJI ASSISTANT
the D-RTK 3 to the computer using a USB-C cable. Open DJI Assistant 2 and
follow the instructions to activate the device.

Setup
A. Base Station/Relay Station
Use the Survey Pole and Tripod kit (sold separately) to set up. Make sure
to choose an open, unobstructed environment. Make sure the tripod is
stable during use. (Figure A)
DO NOT change the position or angle of the tripod or the D-RTK 3 after
the tripod has been leveled, or else it should be readjusted.
B. Rover Station
Simply use the survey pole. Download and install DJI Enterprise app. (Figure B)
Usage
Base Station Mode (
1. Power on the remote controller and aircraft. Make sure the aircraft is
linked to the remote controller.
2. Go to the Precise Positioning Setting in DJI Pilot 2, and set the RTK Service
Type to D-RTK Base Station.
3. Tap to select the desired D-RTK 3 in the search results and wait for the
remote controller to display connecting to the broadcast network of the
D-RTK 3.
4. Tap Calibrate Coordinates for D-RTK to calibrate the coordinates for the
D-RTK 3.
5. The aircraft is ready to take off when the RTK icon on the top bar of DJI
Pilot 2 displays working properly.
Relay Station Mode (
1. Power on the aircraft and remote controller. Make sure the aircraft is
linked to the remote controller.
2. Go to the homepage in DJI Pilot 2, tap Linking > Relay Station to enter the
linking mode.
3. Press and hold the power button on the D-RTK 3 for 5 seconds to enter
the linking mode.
4. After the D-RTK 3 linking with the remote controller, the mode indicator
displays solid blue. The D-RTK 3 will link with the aircraft automatically.
• The D-RTK 3 can also be used as an RTK source when working as a
relay station. Go to the Precise Positioning Setting, set the RTK Service
Type and perform Calibrate Coordinates for D-RTK.
Rover Station Mode (
1. Enable Bluetooth and the Location feature on your smartphone. Open the
DJI Enterprise app and follow the on-screen instructions to connect to the
D-RTK 3.
2. Configure the RTK data source for the D-RTK 3. Make sure that the D-RTK
3 is connected to a network RTK.
3. Create a new task to set the control points/check points and perform
measurements.
