Checking Horizontal/Vertical Lines with the Spirit Levels

The measuring tool can also be used as a carpenter's spirit level
for checking vertical and horizontal lines, for example to align a
washing machine or a refrigerator.
Position the measuring tool with the aluminium supporting
surface (12) horizontally or vertically on the surface to be
checked. Make sure that the measuring tool is positioned cor-
rectly.

Keep the measuring tool clean at all times.
Never immerse the measuring tool in water or other liquids.
Wipe off any dirt using a damp, soft cloth. Do not use any deter-
gents or solvents.
The areas around the outlet aperture of the laser in particular
should be cleaned on a regular basis. Make sure to check for lint
when doing this.
