Switching On/Off
To switch on the measuring tool in point operation, push the on/
off switch (2) one setting in the direction of the laser outlet aper-
tures (● switch position).
To switch on in line operation, push the on/off switch (2) all the
way in the direction of the laser outlet apertures (— switch posi-
tion).
Immediately after being switched on, the measuring tool sends a
laser beam out of the outlet aperture (6) (point operation) or (1)
(line operation), depending on the operating mode selected.
Do not direct the laser beam at persons or animals and do
u
not stare into the laser beam yourself (even from a dis-
tance).
To switch off the measuring tool, push the on/off switch (2) all
the way in the OFF direction.
Never leave the measuring tool unattended when switched
u
on, and ensure the measuring tool is switched off after
use. Others may be blinded by the laser beam.
