Place the measuring tool with the magnet (9) directly on a vertical
magnetic surface, or use the holder (13).
There are two options for attaching the holder (13) to the wall:
– Pinning (see figure B): Place the holder (13) on the wall. Insert
the supplied pins (18) into the wall through the recesses of
the holder (vertically or at an angle of 45° depending on the
nature of the wall).
– Hanging: Place the holder (13) on a screw or a nail slightly pro-
jecting out of a wall using the recess on its rear. The rear of the
holder must be flush with the wall.
Make sure that the holder (13) is securely attached to the wall.
Place the measuring tool with the magnet (9) on the magnetic
mount (15) of the holder.
Note: Horizontal alignment using the laser line is only possible on
the wall to which the measuring tool has been attached. Even if
the laser line can be seen on adjacent walls, it does not necessar-
ily run horizontally on these walls.
Aligning at any angle (see figure C): Align the measuring tool ho-
rizontally on the holder. Then, turn the rotating disc (14) of the
holder so that the 0° marking is under the position indicator (3) of
