NOTE: THE REMOTE CONTROL PANEL IS POWERED BY TWO AAA/LR03 1.5V
BATTERIES. THE BATTERIES ARE NOT SUPPLIED WITH MOD-55.

ASSEMBLY OF THE APPLIANCE

1. Press the two latches on the suction hose retaining ring (10), then insert the ring into the hole (8)
and release the latches. In order to disassemble these elements press the latch and remove the
ring (10) from the hole (8).
2. On the other side of the suction hose (11), connect the telescopic tube (15). At the end of the
telescopic tube (15) put on one of the suction attachments (29), (30), (31), (32), (33+34) or (35).
3. Remove the battery cover (13) in the suction hose holder (11) and install two AAA/LR03 1.5V
batteries in the battery mounting location (14). Batteries are not part of equipment of the vacuum
cleaner. Reattach the battery cover (13).
4. Changing the length of the telescopic tube (15) is possible by pressing the ring in the centre of the
telescopic tube.

USING THE APPLIANCE

1. Before switching on the vacuum cleaner, unfold the power cord (36) to the appropriate length and
insert the plug into the mains socket. When unfolding the cord, do not press the cord retractor
button (2).
2. Press the switch button (1) to switch on the vacuum cleaner.
3. To retract the power cord, press the cord retractor button (2) and hold the cord to prevent sudden
shuffling that could damage the cord.
4. While vacuuming, you can adjust the suction power using the buttons (4) and (5) and the control
panel located in the suction hose holder (12). The vacuum cleaner's display (3) shows the current
suction power level, which is indicated by numbers from 1 to 5 and symbols that show, by way of
example, what the recommended power levels are for:
