Safe device use
a) Do not tamper with the unit to alter its performance or design.
b) Keep the unit away from sources of fire and heat.
c)
Looking directly or through the lens at the light source is prohibited. Doing so may result in damage to
the eyesight and may cause epilepsy.
d) Do not leave the magnifying lens unattended in direct sunlight since this may cause a fire hazard. Be
sure to close the lens cover when finished working.
e) Do not point the light beam of the lens towards people or animals. This may cause burns.
f)
Do not use the product in a shaky environment to avoid damage to the eyes.
g) Do not observe objects behind a window with the scope. The glass causes reflection and distorts the
image, and if the window is open, air currents of different temperatures will also cause distortion.
h) Avoid touching the eyepieces, the lens or the scope itself. Vibrations caused by touching can shift the
image.
i)
When using a spotting scope at night, allow several minutes for your eyes to adjust to the darkness
before observing. It is also recommended that you use a flashlight with a red light filter during any
activity.
