PROGRAMMING THE FRONT LIGHT'S STARTUP BEHAVIOR
EN
The MINI 3 PRO can be manually turned on and off via the high beam
switch if necessary. This function is designed for e-bikes like the Special-
ized Turbo Levo, where the light connection is always under voltage when
the motor is switched on.
The new optional 21 W mode, available starting in 2024, is suitable for
certain Shimano, TQ, Alber, and Brose drives with at least 21 W power at
the light connection.
SETTING OPTIONS:
1. Set the power level (12 or 21 W)
2. The way the light is turned on/off (manually or via the e-bike).
Note: By default, the light is turned on/off via the e-bike.
SETTING THE MANUAL MODE AND THE 21 W MODE:
1. To enter programming mode, hold down the high beam switch while
turning on the e-bike. After about 3 seconds, the low beam will blink 3
times. Then release the high beam switch.
2. By briefly pressing the high beam switch, you can now switch between
the following modes:
Manual mode (indicated in programming mode by the light being
12 W
off, the LED of the high beam switch lights up white): Here, the
front light turns on after starting the e-bike by briefly pressing the
switch. Holding the switch for more than 2 seconds or turning off
the e-bike will gradually turn off the light.
12 W
Automatic mode is set by default (indicated in programming mode
by pulsing low beam and a white glowing high beam switch): If you
choose this mode, the front light will automatically turn on as soon
as voltage is present.
21 W
Manual mode with 21 W high beam function (indicated in program-
ming mode by the light being off and a blue glowing high beam
switch): Here, the front light turns on after starting the e-bike by
briefly pressing the switch. Holding the switch for more than 2 sec-
onds or turning off the e-bike will gradually turn off the light.
21 W
Automatic mode with 21 W high beam function is indicated by
pulsing daytime running light LEDs and a blue glowing high beam
switch. When this mode is selected, the front light will automatical-
ly turn on as soon as voltage is present.
3. To finish programming, you must disconnect the front light, e.g., by re-
moving the battery or turning off the e-bike. The last selected mode will
be activated on the next start.
Warning! Never ride in programming mode (indicated by a pulsing
light), as the front light will then not comply with the StVZO, and the
front light will be turned off by pressing the high beam switch.
