* During recording, do not turn off the source being

Noise
may
be recorded,

in some
case, this noise could damage the speakers.
* The DAT-88EX
may
not be able to play a tape
recorded
by another DAT from its start, for first
several seconds. When recording a tape using DAT
machines other than the DAT-88EX from the start
of tape, leave a non-recorded
section using the
auto record muting function and then start record-
ing.
