It is recommended
that you
record
start Ds
by the following
procedure.

« When recording is started from the middle of tape,

may not be recorded (start IDs
are recorded). In this case, re-record the program

manually when recording a source in which sound
is interrupted such as a broadcast, sound from a
microphone,
etc.
To record start IDs manually —
1. Press the Record
and Pause
buttons simul-
taneously to set the DAT-88EX
to the record
pause
mode.
2. Press the ID Mode
button
@) to set the subcode
record
mode
to "ST-ID".
("ST-ID"
will light in the
Subcodes
