To remove, turn the mixing rod counterclockwise out of
the drive shaft. The rod can be very tight in this mount.
In this case, the mounting must be secured with a key
to prevent it from turning (Fig. 4).
m Warning!
Disconnect the machine from the power supply before
assembling or disassembling the stirrer.
Failure to do so may result in accidental starting and
possibly serious injury.

Operation
Switching on (fig. 1)
Press in the on/off switch (4) and keep it pressed; now
you can press in the safety catch for the on/off switch
(5) to start the hand mixer. Once the unit is working,
you can release the safety catch for the on/off switch
(5).
Switching off (fig. 1)
Release the on/off switch (4). The safety catch for the
on/off switch (5) automatically switches off as well.
Speed regulator (Fig. 5)
The speed regulator (6) can be used to adjust the
speed of the device in steps. The type of material
being mixed will determine what speed is required.
The best way to learn the optimum speed is through
practice.
10. Cleaning and maintenance
ATTENTION!
Unplug the mains plug from the socket before car-
rying out any work on the device.
Cleaning
• Keep the ventilation slots of the machine clean to
avoid overheating.
• Clean the machine housing regularly with a soft
cloth, preferably after each use.
• Keep the ventilation slots free of dust and dirt.
• If the dirt does not come off, use a cloth moistened
with soapy water.
ATTENTION!
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, am-
monia water, etc. These solvents could damage
the plastic parts.
Carbon brushes
If excessive sparks are generated, have an electri-
cian check the carbon brushes. Attention! The car-
bon brushes must only be replaced by an electrician.
11. Repair & ordering spare parts
After repairs or maintenance, make sure that all safe-
ty-related parts are installed and are in perfect con-
dition. All parts which may cause injury must be kept
where they are inaccessible to children or others.
Attention: According to the German Product Liability
Act, no liability is accepted for damage caused by im-
proper repairs or by not using original spare parts.
Such work should be performed by a customer service
centre or an authorised specialist. The same applies to
accessory parts.
Connections and repairs
Connections and repair work on the electrical equip-
ment may only be carried out by electricians.
