Charging the integrated battery
DANGER! Risk of fatal electrical shock!
Only charge the appliance indoors in dry locations away
from water. For example, do not charge the appliance next to
or above a sink filled with water.
Note: Before using the appliance, the integrated battery
must be completely charged.
The USB charging cable w is used only to charge the internal
♦
battery. It is not suitable for data transmission.
♦ Only charge the appliance with a USB power adapter with
protection class II that is approved for use with household ap-
pliances and has an output voltage of 5 V
current of max. 2 A.
Use only the supplied USB charging cable w to charge the
♦
integrated battery.
1) Connect the USB-A plug of the USB charging cable w to a
suitable mains adapter.
2) Connect the USB-C plug of the USB charging cable w to the
plug socket 3 of the appliance.
3) Plug the mains adapter into a mains power outlet.
At the plug socket 3, the LED status indicator 4 lights up red
to indicate that the battery is charging. When the battery is
fully charged, the LED status indicator 4 lights up green.
4) If you want to use the appliance in battery mode, disconnect
the USB charging cable w. A full battery charge is sufficient
for about 1 hour of operation.
Note: You can also use the appliance while connected to the
mains.

Handling and operation
Initial use
ATTENTION! It is possible that oil drops may cause damage
to furniture surfaces. If necessary, place a cloth under the
appliance.
♦ Place the appliance on a level and stable surface.
♦ Remove the lid 2 and fill the water tank 7 with at least
20 ml (maximum 150 ml) clean tap water using the provid-
ed measuring beaker e. Note the maximum filling level 8
marked with MAX.

Afterwards, place the lid 2 back on the water tank 7. With

the SAD 3.7 F5 model, make sure that the steam outlet 1 is not
placed directly over the ventilation slot 9, otherwise no steam
can escape. On the SAD 3.7 G6 model, the ventilation slot 9
must fit into the recess on the underside of the lid, otherwise the
lid 2 will not rest evenly.

colour change function
