- If you hear error bleeps: You are in an area where no traffic
information is broadcast.
* Switch off the TA mode.
If the tuned station has become too weak to enable the reception
of Traffic Announcements you hear an error beep.
* Use search tuning to find another station.
VOLUME LEVEL FOR TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENTS
* Adjust the required volume level while listening to a
Traffic Announcement. This volume level is memorised
by the set.
INTERRUPTING A TRAFFIC ANNOUNCEMENT
* Stop listening to a particular Traffic Announcement
without switching off the TA mode.
SWITCHING OFF TA MODE
¢ Switch off the TA mode. Traffic Announcements no
longer have priority.
NEWS BULLETINS
You can switch on the NEWS mode to give priority to News
bulletins (even if you play a CD or mute the set). NEWS is not
yet implemented in all countries.
SWITCHING ON NEWS MODE
* Select an FM band.
* Switch on the NEWS mode.
* Tune to a station which broadcasts News bulletins.
- You will now hear news bulletins when broadcast. The set
may also receive News bulletins from other stations.
News bulletins may be interrupted by Traffic Announcements
(if the TA mode is switched on).
