CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Keep the dust container level under regular control. An overfilled container
reduces vacuuming efficiency, increases energy consumption and causes the filters to
become dirty more quickly.
CAUTION! Do not submerge the vacuum cleaner, battery charger and battery in water!
CAUTION! To achieve the best possible performance of the vacuum cleaner, clean the
filters and the dust container after each use.
CAUTION! Maintenance work must be carried out with the vacuum cleaner switched
off and the charging cable disconnected!
1. Clean the outer surfaces of the vacuum cleaner with a damp cloth and then wipe it dry. Use a
mild cleaning agent for stubborn dirt.
2. In order to empty the dust container, switch off the vacuum cleaner with a ON/OFF button.
Disconnect the aluminium pipe. Place the dust container over the dustbin, push the opening
button and dump the contents of the container into the dustbin. Close the bottom.
3. To clean the filters, hold the handle (1) with one hand and press the bottom opening button
with the other.
4. Remove the steel mesh fil-
ters (9), first inlet filter (10),
second inlet filter (11) from the
dust container. Clean all filters
from dust with a brush or
compressed air. Do not im-
merse the filters in water, this
may damage the hoover.
Wipe the dust container (8)
with a dry cloth..
5. To clean the engine exhaust
filter (4), press the filter re-
lease button and remove it. Then, clean it with a
brush or compressed air. Do not immerse the filter
in water.
CAUTION! Do not assembly wet filters – risk of
damage to the vacuum cleaner!
6. Periodically clean the rotating electro-brush roller. You
can remove the roller by releasing the lock towards the
open padlock marking on the underside of the elec-
tric brush. Then remove the roller for cleaning. Once
the roller has been cleaned, place it back in the elec-
tro-brush and attach the lock.
CAUTION! Proper and regular cleaning ensures
safety of use and extends the life of the appliance.
