Instrument: FM Signal Generator and H.D. Analyzer
• Set Function Selector to ''FM" position.
e Set MUTING switch and HI-BLEND
position.
• Connect FM signal Generator to FM antenna ter-
minals.
• Connect Oscilloscope and H.D. Analyzer to output
jack.
A. FM IF ALIGNMENT:
I. Set Signal Generator Frequency at 98MHz (400Hz
100% mod.) and adjust the tuner
output point by turning
antenna terminal voltage should be 1mV.)
2. Adjust the meter to center position by adjusting
the lower core of Ll 12.
3. Adjust IF coil L107 to obtain maximum deflection
on scope.
4. Set distortion to minimum by adjusting the upper
core of LI 12.
B. FM RF ALIGNMENT:
1. Set Signal Generator
(400Hz 100% mod.) and also the tuner at 106MHz
on the dial scale. Then adjust FM OSC trimmer
CT 5 to obtain maximum deflection on scope.
