3. INTENDED USE
The FC 90 Pureo Ionic Skin Care must only be used to treat human facial skin.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in these instructions for use. Use the device
only according to the methods specified. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from
improper or careless use.
This device is intended for domestic use only, not for commercial purposes.
4. WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTES
WARNING
Before using the FC 90 Pureo Ionic Skin Care, read the safety notes through carefully. Non-obser-
vance of the following information may result in personal injury or material damage. Store these in-
structions for use and make them accessible to other users. Make sure you include these instructions
for use when handing over the device to third parties.
• If, after using the device, you experience a worsening of the skin, undesired side e ects or pro-
longed redness, stop using the device and consult your doctor.
• Do NOT use the device on acutely or chronically diseased (injured or irritated) skin (e.g. inflamed
skin – whether painful or not, reddened skin, rashes, e.g. allergies, burns, bruises, swellings, as
well as open and healing wounds).
• Keep the device away from water.
• Only use with the supplied mains adapter.
Electric shock
WARNING
• As with every electrical device, the FC 90 Pureo Ionic Skin Care must be used carefully and cau-
tiously in order to avoid hazards due to electric shock.
• Only use the device with the mains adapter supplied and at the mains voltage specified on the
type plate.
• Only plug the mains adapter into the socket when the device is switched o .
• Never use the device if it or any of its accessories are visibly damaged.
• Do not use the device if it has sustained a fall or if water has penetrated the device interior.
• Do not use the device during a storm.
• In the event of defects or operational faults, switch o the device immediately. Pull the plug out
of the mains socket.
• Do not pull on the mains cable or on the device to disconnect the mains adapter from the socket.
• Never hold or carry the device by the mains cable.
• Do not clamp or pinch the mains cable.
• Keep the mains adapter away from hot surfaces.
